- Section leaders will decide where your section is meeting– circle or arc up with your sections outside; percussion only remain inside
- Everyone take your music stand out
- Tubas, bass clarinets, bari sax, and horns - take your chair out (everyone else will be standing)
- Follow the Sectional Rehearsal Guidelines carefully (winds | percussion)
- Mr. Mijares and Mr. Summers will have only 10 minutes (use a timer!) with each section:
- Mijares - Flutes (Oboe can be with flutes or separate)
- Summers - Clarinets
- Mijares - Bass Clarinets, Bari Sax, Tubas (take chairs)
- Summers - Alto Saxes and Horns
- Summers - Tenor Saxes, Trombones, Euphoniums
- Mijares - Trumpets
- Percussion - since you have your own class and we have limited time, you will be on your own the entire 30 minutes
- When Mr. Mijares or Mr. Summers come to your section, every student will play the concert F Major scale and arpeggio down the line. You only get one chance to play it today. Pass/fail. If you do not pass today, you will try again later.
- After each student in your section plays their concert F Major scale and arpeggio, spend the remaining time working on one of the passages on the list
- You need to be set up and starting your rehearsal by 2:05 p.m. sharp - move quickly!
